Scientific Dental Clinic is established in 2000 May. The clinic is registered under the Indian companies act by the name SCIENTIFIC HEALTHCARE PVT LTD. This clinic is one of the few clinics in INDIA and probably in the world which predominantly focuses on dental implant treatment... Dr Biju Thomas who established this clinic has developed the center as a one stop specialty clinic to handle all types of dental and cranio facial implant treatment. Hundreds of overseas patients from different parts of the world are treated by this time. Most of the patients come to scientific dental implant center exclusively for dental implant treatment. Our success rate with dental implant treatment is in par with the global success rate and we give a 10 year warranty for all the work we do.
Dr Biju Thomas who is by specialization a maxillofacial surgeon has over 17 years of experience in his specialty. He worked in centers of excellence like Cambridge university hospital UK (ADDENBROOKS NHS TRUST, CAMBRIDGE), and Trinity university hospital, Ireland (St: JAMES’S HOSPITAL NHS TRUST, DUBLIN) in the capacity of a senior specialist. During this time he treated hundreds of patients in UK and Ireland. He was also registered with dental council of UK and Dental council of Ireland and is in good standing with these organizations.
Every single patient who seeks dental implant treatment is personally treated by Dr Thomas. The clinic has in house dental laboratory and hence no work is out sourced and the quality is always maintained. A surgeon who is hired on a contract or one who is free lancing can terminate contract with the clinic and his services may not be available in later years. Dr Thomas who is the implantologist for scientific dental clinic owns this clinic and the clinic functions in the own building. Dental technicians of the clinic are specially trained in implant prosthetics
The facilities if the clinic is designed to provide treatment in the most clean environment. It is a low volume clinic as the overseas patients are given one to one attention at all times. All international parameters are taken care to maintain aseptic condition.
The clinic is equipped with all the machineries needed to treat complex dental implants treatment. We have state of the art five physio dispensers, two piezoelectric bone surgery units. All the bone augmentation procedures like sinus grafting, local extraction socket grating, block bone grafting to manage vertical and horizontal ridge augmentation, nerve repositioning , guided tissue regeneration etc are routinely done. Diversity of implant stock and bone augmentation materials can handle any clinical situation comfortably.
As Dr Thomas is consultant Maxillofacial surgeon to leading multi specialty hospitals in city, patients can be admitted in these hospitals and dental implant treatment can be done under general anesthesia if any patients wish to do so. Even medically compromised patients can be treated with multi specialty support.

It is important that good quality materials are used for the fabrication of crown and bridges for aesthetics and function. We at scientific dental clinic use VITA 3D Master porcelain from Germany and IVOACLAIRE VIVADENT porcelain from LICHENSTEIN.
More over the artificial teeth are designed to maintain the oral hygiene as effortlessly as possible. The margin of crown and bridges and the undersurface of the crowns are designed to avoid totally any type of food collection... Incorporating such features is as important in creating aesthetics. If there is food collection around a good looking crown that will lead to failure of prosthesis.
We have 26 different shades of porcelain to match with any teeth. There is special porcelain to bring in characterization to mimic adjacent tooth. Translucency, enamel crack, wear pattern, stains etc can all be incorporated to bring in aesthetics. As our dental lab does not take any work from other clinics, the technicians are not under pressure and their artistic talents are made productive. Dr Thomas personally supervises all stages of the work as the lab and clinic is under one roof.

All the work done in the clinics lab whether it is tooth supported or implant supported prosthesis we give a ten year warranty.
