I talked with dentists in the Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, and India. Most offered me the quick fix of mini implants. Dr Thomas was the only one who answered all my queries to my satisfaction and his qualifications and experience were impeccable. So then I was in Kochi having stage one done for a quarter of the price for a far better job. Dr Thomas was very gentle and highly skilled and seeing as no one knew me here it made it easier. For instance I had 12 teeth removed with no bleeding when they removed 8 teeth in Australia I had to bite on bandages for 3 hours to stop the bleeding. By the way getting the implant is less painful than a small filling.

Now here is a picture of me at the end of stage one with my temporary false teeth. Amazingly they are very comfortable, thanks to my temporary implants and Dr Thomas’s amazing technician. Kochi is a great place for a holiday once you get over the initial cultural shock. I was here for over three weeks and I didn’t get bored. The people are friendly, laid back and there is heaps to do and see from the adventurous, to relaxing on the beach or hanging out at the great cafes. The food is unreal.
