My mother Dr.Sarala Somasunaram was a well known gynecologist at one time - probably she was the only one around in our (once) little town Tripunithura (now a metro municipality!!) - even now in her seventies, retired from service she continues to be family doctor, friend, counselor, mother to the people here –
Some years back she developed problems with her teeth and wanted to switch over to dentures – she approached a dentist in our town –and the dentist extracted her few teeth and bridge was given and she had to pay a lot of her hard earned money and left her with lots of pain and agony – Her frail body had many ailments and she would uncomplainingly bear all – this time too – |

My mom who always maintained her smile even in life’s adversities stopped smiling – she developed severe pain radiating from neck to shoulders – since she had a spinal operation some years back, her neurologist attributed it to spondilytis – she was on many pain killers – her health failed as she could not take proper food - neurologist claimed that she had neuralgia which is why she had difficulty in chewing – during that time suddenly she developed difficulty in speaking too as straining the jaw seemed too painful for her –
That was when I chanced upon Dr.Biju’s website – When Dr.Biju examined her mouth and found the bridge was loose there was infection all in her gums
what followed was nothing short of a miracle – Dr.Biju got all that infected teeth and loose bridge was removed and placed 8 dental implants on top jaw and six implants in the lower jaw. There was a healing period of six months during which time my mother had to use a denture. Six months later, Porcelain bridge was provided on the implants

It would be ungrateful on my part if I don’t thank his staff too for making us so comfortable during the entire procedure. Now it is over one year the whole procedure is complete.
